Please go to Donut Plains! It's my newer/updated Mario site!
www.donutplains.net
By now, we all know about the Wii,
and the fact that it's going to be
different from anything we've seen
before. How this is incorporated
into Super Mario Galaxy remains a
mystery. What kind of edge will it
give to Mario? What will this enable
Mario to do?
Graphically, the game looks
stunning, as expected. Everything so
far looks fairly crisp and detailed,
though we can't be sure until we can
all play it. Mario himself looks
great as well as his surroundings,
which screenshots and the title
indicates that it's obviously space
But why space? What can that do to
the storyline of the game? We can
only speculate, but right now it
seems like Nintendo's going to try
and do something off-the-charts with
this game. Up to this point, there
isn't very many space references in
any of the Mario adventure-type
games, so we really can't be sure
why our hero would need to blast off
into space
Hopefully this game will be great,
but some fans may not expect so. It
is after all the first Mario game,
other than Super Smash Bros. Brawl,
to feature Mario. Super Mario 64
started greatness on the Nintendo
64. Super Mario Sunshine really
wasn't up to par in my opinion,
giving fans even more reasons to
await this next adventure. Can
Nintendo and Mario rebound from the
GCN into the future of the Wii?
